Free Time On Saturday

Just a heads-up:  after the workshops on Saturday morning, you will have a variety of options for things to do during the afternoon before returning at 4:30 for some pre-dinner entertainment.  Here are a few options:

  • Lunch (on your own): There are several fast-food establishments and nice restaurants close to the chapel for lunch (close by along Grand Ave  are Subway, McDonalds, McKenzie River Pizza, Montico’s, Sugar’n Spice, Zpizza, Wendy’s and there other eateries further down Grand or near Central and 24th street or along King Ave. West).
  • Organized service project on the Billings Temple Grounds
  • 2:00 Temple endowment session. It will be finished in time for you to make it to the Stake Center for the 4:30 entertainment.
  • 3:30 Instant Choir Practice –  An instant choir will be performing for the Sunday morning sacrament meeting – and if you are interested in participating in the choir you may want to be at the 3:30 practice session.
  • The Corn Maize 10 am- 10 pm 58th St. West between Grand and Rimrock Ave. $9 admission ( $8 with coupon) Zoo Montana 10 am- 4 pm 2100 South Shiloh Rd $7 ($2.50 if you are in a group of 12 or more)
  • Yegen Yellowstone Co. Museum 10:30 am– 3:00 pm Airport road loop Free admission
  • Burn the Point Classic Car Show 10 am- 3 pm at Metra Park 308 6th Ave North (downtown)
  • Yellowstone Art Museum 10 am – 5 pm 401 N. 27th Street (downtown) $1 entrance fee day
  • Moss Mansion Historic House Museum 10 am- 3 pm (tours start on the hour) 914 Division Street (downtown) $7 admission fee
  • Western Heritage Center: Stories of Yellowstone area peoples 10 am – 5 pm 2822 Montana Avenue (downtown) $5 admission
  • Big Sky Polka Fest 2-11 p.m. at Al Bedoo Shrine Auditorium 1125 Broadwater $18 entrance fee
  • Golf – Peter Yegen 1390 Zimmerman Trail, Exchange City 19 South 19th Street West
  • Shopping – Rimrock Mall 300 South 24th Street West
